The national flag of Nepal is the world’s only flag that is non-quadrilateral in shape, it is a simplified combination of two single pennons. It is crimson with blue borders and incorporates stylized symbol of sun and the moon. The two triangles represents mountains and Himalayas in the country and also it represents two major religions, Hinduism and Buddhism. The color crimson red is color of Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal.
