Maane (Buddhist Prayer Wheel)

Prayer wheel  known as Maane chos’khor, in Tibetan Buddhism is significant item in Buddhism, it is equivalent to the recitation of a mantra. Prayer wheel is a design consisting of metal cylinder mounted on a wooden rod. The cylinders are beautifully carved with a mantra and bejeweled with artistic designs. Each turning of the wheel is equivalent to oral recitation of the mantra that is printed on the scroll.
